FemTech is an industry set to grow and was valued at $487 million in 2020, and it is expected to reach $522 million by the end of 2021. We have a first-of-a-kind group which aims to inform, educate and share information on the fast-growing FemTech sector, whilst promoting FemTech activity in the UK. We will cover topics and issues that impact women and determine what - and how - entrepreneurs, innovators and researchers of every gender are using tech to help women live their lives the way they want to, free from discomfort, pain, stigma and ignorance of issues that often are barriers to living a full and happy life.

We have been set up for all genders, lifestyles, cultures and religions. We all have grandmothers, mothers, sisters, aunts, wives, girlfriends, friends and colleagues and many issues that affect women also affect the people they live, socialise and work with. FemTech North encourages all genders to share their experiences on and learn about the issues that have or might affect the women in their lives and how developments in FemTech products or services have made (or not) a difference.
