Festival Classique is een festival voor klassieke muziek dat als geen ander een nieuw publiek weet aan te boren. Door een sterke focus op festivalbeleving, nauwe samenwerking met bekende, aansprekende partners en het streven naar de hoogst haalbare kwaliteit, trekt het festival doelgroepen aan die nooit eerder met klassieke muziek in aanraking kwamen. Dat doet het vanuit de overtuiging dat klassieke muziek van grote waarde kan zijn in ieders leven.
Festival Classique zet zich al vanaf 2006 in om te laten zien dat klassieke muziek een verrijking is voor iedereen. Het festival trok in 2018 ruim 44.000 bezoekers. Met onze programmering bereiken we alle leeftijdscategorieën, van jong tot oud. De programmering bestaat uit een brede waaier aan gratis en betaald te bezoeken voorstellingen, concerten en activiteiten. We zijn een festival aan zee: in de buitenlucht en op bijzondere binnenlocaties op Scheveningen verrassen we het publiek en dagen we hen uit de muziek op een andere manier te beleven. Het festival biedt een podium aan professionele musici, muziekstudenten en aan amateurs uit de regio Den Haag. Deze verbinding inspireert!
