Fhold is a collapsible cardboard laptop stand. It arises from the need to elevate the laptop to a more comfortable position as well as to take it and use it wherever the user needs. Our product can be seen as an affordable, mobile, recyclable and economic alternative to the conventional laptop stand. Fhold’s foldable capability allows the user to carry it around in his backpack or suitcase, and use it wherever he’d like. The 12.5º of inclination allows the user to rectify its posture while cooling the laptop. The use of cardboard as prime material relates to the fact that it is recyclable and contributes to environmental sustainability, becoming an object that, after its lifetime, is easily recycled or reusable while on the other hand, gives the robustness and flexibility to product usage. Fhold has been developed with a communication purpose besides its functional purpose using the surface of cardstock to print or draw whatever the user may like.
