We are locals looking out for locals. Our Vision Because hardship and crisis can happen to anyone, we envision a community where: • Those in need know where to turn. People facing hardship or crisis feel safe seeking help from the Fifeshire Foundation. They are treated with respect, and their needs are met fairly and promptly. • Supporters know their help makes a difference. Individuals and groups who want to help can do so through the Foundation, confident that their contributions are managed with care and used effectively. ________________________________________ What We Do We offer practical, timely support for people in need across Nelson Tasman: • Hardship Grants We help individuals and families cover urgent needs—from health costs and overdue bills to children’s expenses, transport, and essential household goods. • Winter Grants We support households through the colder months by providing loads of firewood or financial help with heating costs. • Big Give Christmas Appeal We bring joy to local families during the festive season by delivering gifts and support at Christmas. • Charity Surgery Support We partner with Manuka Street Hospital to support Charity Surgery, helping those who can’t access timely medical treatment. • NMIT Student Scholarship We fund a scholarship for a student in their final year at NMIT who would otherwise be unable to complete their degree due to financial hardship.
