Freelance Producer, Director and Creative Consultancy. Based in Cornwall. Fin Irwin graduated in drama from Exeter University in 2005. Choosing to stay in Exeter, he became an associate lecturer of drama and arts management at Exeter College. In 2007 he became managing director of Tabernacle Arts CIC and tried to establish an arts café in the city. When that venture failed through lack of funding, he took up producing. He worked with Particular Theatre, Random Acts and Restless Theatre. In February 2010, with Particular Theatre Company and David Lockwood, Fin founded The Bike Shed Theatre, where he remains a company director. He has produced twelve productions and directed four in The Bike Shed. In February 2013, Fin stopped working at The Bike Shed. Since then he has been appointed Executive Director of Shacademy, he has formed a new theatre company Nuts and Volts and has started offering creative and business consultancy to start-up companies.
