Finansal Kiralama, Faktoring ve Finansman Şirketleri Birliği 21.11.2012 tarih, 6361 no’lu Finansal Kiralama, Faktoring ve Finansman Şirketleri Kanunu’nun ilgili maddelerine göre teşekkül eden, tüzel kişiliği haiz, kamu kurumu niteliğinde bir meslek kuruluşudur. Kurumsal yapısı itibariyle Türkiye ekonomisinin üretim, satış ve tüketim kanallarının üçünde de yer alan sektörler birliğinin çatı kuruluşudur.
İlgili kanunla gelen düzenlemeye göre, birliğin görev ve yetkileri şu şekildedir:
a) Mesleğin gelişmesini temin etmek, üyelerin birlik ve dayanışmasını artırmak, eğitim, tanıtım ve araştırma faaliyetlerinde bulunmakla,
b) Meslek ilkelerini belirlemek suretiyle üyelerin birlik ve mesleğin gerektirdiği disiplin içinde ekonominin ihtiyaçlarına uygun olarak çalışmalarını sağlamakla,
c) Üyelerinin uyacakları meslek ilkeleri ve standartlarını belirlemekle,
ç) İlgili mevzuat uyarınca alınan kararlar ile Kurumca alınması istenilen tedbirleri üyelerine duyurmakla,
d) Üyeleri arasında haksız rekabeti önlemek amacıyla gerekli her türlü tedbiri almak ve uygulamakla,
e) Üyelerin ilan ve reklamlarında uyacakları esas ve şartları tür, şekil, nitelik ve miktarı itibarıyla tespit etmekle,
f) Üyelerinin ortak menfaatlerini ilgilendiren konularda yönetim kurulu kararına istinaden dava açmakla,
g) Üyeleri arasında ortak projelere ilişkin iş birliğini temin etmekle,
ğ) Bu Kanunda sayılan diğer görevleri yerine getirmekle,
görevli ve yetkilidir.
