Mijn naam is Mhamed Cherqi. Tijdens mijn werk als ondernemer, coach en mentor zag ik keer op keer jongeren en gezinnen worstelen met financiële onzekerheid. Mensen die, door simpelweg een gebrek aan praktische financiële kennis, vastliepen in schulden of kansen misten die hun leven hadden kunnen veranderen.
Het viel me op dat traditionele financiële educatie vaak fragmentarisch, abstract en simpelweg niet inspirerend was. Theorie bleef theorie, en het sloot niet aan bij de dagelijkse realiteit waarin mensen leven. Dat kon beter. Dat moest beter. Maar hoe?
Uit die overtuiging ontstond Finius. Niet als zomaar een app, maar als een integraal en levenslang leerplatform dat mensen begeleidt van kind tot volwassenheid. We verbinden leren direct met handelen, van het beheren van zakgeld tot het plannen van pensioen. Dit doen we met gamification, personalisatie en vooral praktische scenario’s.
Ons doel is helder: financiële zelfredzaamheid voor iedereen, ongeacht achtergrond of leeftijd. Finius is gebouwd uit de overtuiging dat iedereen recht heeft op de kennis en vaardigheden om gezonde financiële keuzes te maken.
