The purpose of the association is to develop and carry out activities for students of Royal
Institute of Technology. It would build a strong international community to enhance the overall
lookout of KTH as a more diversified university. The association would enrich the international
student’s experience by organizing different cultural, diversified and educational activities to
encourage them gain a better understanding of different international cultures, develop one’s
skills to work in an international environment, sharing knowledge and experience from different
fields. The association also aims to focus on cross cultural platforms helping them find a “home
away from home”.
The primary vision of the association is to organize different festivals of the world by
experiencing flavours from every part of the world. When showcasing different festivals, the
members would get a chance to not only participate but also organize their own cultural
festivals bringing their perception amongst various cultures and traditions.
The association will also provide platforms to bring different dance styles, various musical
genres and stage acts like dramas, poetry and stand-ups. This will inspire students to showcase
their own talents and also spread their background.
The association believes that it can reduce the cultural differences and language barriers by
providing friendly language exchange classes. This would help build new networks and
strengthen the language skills of the members.
