Flexpertae was born out of:
- The desire to be the change we wanted to see
- A decision to create flexible roles including part-time, job-sharing and temporary, with flexibility tailored for each individual
- The lack of diverse roles for mid and senior level professionals for whom the full time 9-5 job is simply not viable
- Recognition that the core issue is that part-time and flexible jobs simply do not exist at this level
- Deep understanding of how more flexible working can be applied to the Technology sector
Our mission is two-fold
1. To help businesses requiring highly skilled, experienced people
2. To create opportunities for experienced technology professionals to remain in, or return to, the workforce.
For Businesses:
- Assess and advise on how to create more flexible working solutions
- Give access to highly skilled professionals – professional “handy-men/women”.
- Provide business continuity for organisations to tide them over during periods of flux.
- Assist Start-Ups giving access to a highly skilled pool of talent on an interim or part-time ongoing basis.
- Traditional consulting ramping up teams for existing and new programmes.
For Professionals:
- Facilitate opportunities for people for whom time is a barrier and flexibility is a must.
- Enable retention of professionals reducing skill shortage.
- Enable a route back into work following career breaks.
- Provide opportunities for professionals who are carers, have disabilities, parents, and those who wish to semi-retire or take career breaks.
