FOI Services is an independent, privately-held corporation located in Montgomery County, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C. We were founded in 1975 to facilitate the flow of information under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Since its inception, FOI has specialized in Food & Drug Administration (FDA) information, providing access to a private library of over 150,000 FDA documents in all categories of products regulated by the agency. Anyone can search descriptions of the documents we have in our library by using our DocuSearch® system at FOI Online to find unpublished records available for immediate downloading. There is no subscription or charge to search or read document descriptions; you pay only for the documents you choose to download. If you have any questions about searching, or prefer that we perform the search for you, please don't hesitate to contact our experienced information specialists. We are always happy to place a custom Freedom of Information Act request to obtain records not already in our files.When we place your FOIA request, only our name becomes a matter of public record - we do not divulge the names of our customers, so your identity - and research interest - is kept confidential. Unless specified otherwise, all of the documents have been released by the U.S. Government under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act and are therefore available to the general public.
