FOMCA is a voluntary, non-profit, non-political, and civic organization. It became the umbrella for its combined consumer association. FOMCA works closely with governments and non-governmental organizations at the national and international levels in providing information, education, and consumer protection.

To strengthen the development of the consumer movement in Malaysia.
Examines consumer issues and problems and fights for consumer rights.
To fight through consumer purchasing power in order to obtain a development orientation that will ensure socio-economic justice and better environmental quality for all.
Coordinate and be a consulting body for other consumer organizations in Malaysia
