160 ans après la découverte de l’endométriose, la 1ère fondation de recherche exclusivement dédiée à la maladie est enfin créée en France sous l’égide de la Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale (FRM).
Ses objectifs : accélérer la recherche pour faciliter le diagnostic, comprendre l’endométriose et développer des traitements.
Cette maladie touche et handicape plus de 2 millions de femmes en France et reste encore incurable aujourd’hui.
La Fondation pour la Recherche sur l’Endométriose (FRE) a été créée en janvier 2021 par l’association Endomind, qui agit depuis plusieurs années pour mieux faire connaître l’endométriose, améliorer la prise en charge de cette pathologie sur le territoire national et encourager la recherche.
