La Fondation Papillon, créée en 2011, se mobilise pour venir en aide aux enfants défavorisés de la région de Charleroi.
Il y a environ 45.000 jeunes orphelins en Belgique* et bon nombre d’entre eux vivent dans des situations particulièrement précaires voire dans une grande solitude.
Si l’Aide à la jeunesse subventionne le personnel d’encadrement des enfants, leur prise en charge quotidienne (les loisirs, l’école, la santé, etc.) et le fonctionnement de l’institution : par contre, elle ne subventionne pas les investissements en infrastructure et en équipements.
Or, il manque cruellement de places dans notre région pour accueillir correctement ces enfants. Les structures existantes deviennent peu appropriées et trop souvent vétustes.
Nos projets se veulent avant tout fédérateurs, nous souhaitons proposer une aide directe, leur offrir des conditions de bien-être avec un accompagnement de qualité.
