Founded by three young Toronto-based entrepreneurs, FoodShootr is a social media platform specifically designed for foodies. Through this mobile application, not only are food-photos shared but the unique memorable dining experience itself. In addition, this application allows users to engage with other foodies in the real world through what they have trademarked as “Eatups”. Here, users are able to try featured dishes on the app with other foodies [up to ten users per Eatup] of common culinary interests by joining or hosting an “Eatup” linked to the desired picture. ___________________________________________________________________________________ February 2013 - Dubbed as “the ultimate photo sharing app for foodies” by KillerStartups. March 2013 - Featured in the CRFA Show and ranked as the top 15 favourite finds amongst over 1,200 exhibits by Foodea.com. December 2013 - Featured on CP24’s app central with hostess MacArthur. February 2014 - Featured at MaRS in the Startup Career Expo hosted by the University of Toronto amongst the top 80 start-ups in Toronto.
