For the One (FTO) is a non-profit sharing organization established in 2018, that has been working in the area of Anti-Slavery and Community Development, and Community Transformers. We have two main projects namely: The Sahas Project and Community Transformer Project. Under Sahas Project we run 3 sub-projects: Safe Home, The Genesis Abode (TGA) and Next Step Living (NSL). Safe Home is a house for minor Nepalese survivor girls rescued from sex trafficking or sexual abuse, where we currently have 22 girls living with 4 House Mothers. TGA is a small family styled home where girls who need special care lives with a House Mother. We've 6 girls currently living in TGA. NSL is a semi-independent living program for girls above 18 years old having job and studying at the same time. FTO provides fully set-up flat for the girls of NSL and the girls have to bear some living expenses on their own (currently, this project is not functioning for some period). Our second project is Community Transformer based on Chitwan and we've 3 sub-projects: Chepang Education Scholarship (CES), Higher Education Loan Program (HELP) and Sahayatri. CES project was started in 2019 with the aim of uplifting the lives of Chepang community of Chitwan who falls under the marginalized group of Nepal. Under this program, we are currently providing full education support with residential care for 10 children till Grade 10. HELP project is an extension program of CES where the graduates who wants to continue their higher education can get interest free loan with food and lodging facilities until Intermediate Level. Sahayatri is a project targeted for the underprivilege or orphan or those having single parents who cannot afford to have school essentials (uniform, stationaries & lunch) due to poverty. Under this program, we are providing school lunch, uniform and stationaries to 47 children from Shree Janahit Rastriya Basic School. Besides these, we conduct community workshops for school and women group.
