Force Industries in 2010 became a partner in the Victorian Direct Manufacturing Centre an innovative consortium established by CSIRO and supported by the Victorian government. Direct manufacturing is a revolutionary concept where components are manufactured directly from powders and offers dramatic savings in costs, and significant reductions in adverse environmental impacts. potential to deliver a ‘quantum leap' in the manufacturing process and enable manufacturers in developed countries like Australia to compete with countries where labour costs are low.
