Das Forum Gemeinwohl e.V. setzt Impulse für die wissenschaftlich orientierte Auseinandersetzung mit Gemeinwohlfragen und trägt damit zur Gemeinwohlorientierung in Wirtschaft, Staat und Bürgergesellschaft bei.
Das Forum Gemeinwohl e.V. verfolgt als gemeinnütziger Verein die Idee, die Bedeutung des Gemeinwohls sichtbar und erfahrbar zu machen – z.B. für den gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt, für die Förderung der Demokratie, für eine gute Organisationsführung – und die wissenschaftlich orientierte Auseinandersetzung mit Gemeinwohlfragen zu befördern. Wir möchten Verbindungen zwischen Theorie und Praxis aufzeigen, sowie relevante gesellschaftliche Fragestellungen identifizieren und tragende Antworten finden und auch bestärken. Seiner Natur gemäß berührt das Gemeinwohl Wirtschaft, Politik und Bürgergesellschaft gleichermaßen und birgt daher die Möglichkeit, Dinge miteinander sinnvoll zu verknüpfen und ein Forum zu schaffen für Neues. In diesem Sinne ist es unser Anliegen, als unabhängiger Partner dem offenen Dialog und der wissenschaftlichen Forschung zum Thema Gemeinwohl den notwendigen Raum und Rückhalt zu geben. Wir sind der Aufklärung und dem Humanismus verpflichtet und dabei parteipolitisch unabhängig und überkonfessionell.
Das Forum Gemeinwohl e.V. wurde am 22. August 2019 auf Initiative des Lehrstuhls für Wirtschaftspsychologie und Führung an der HHL – Handelshochschule Leipzig als gemeinnütziger Verein gegründet. Der Zweck des Vereins ist die Förderung und Unterstützung wissenschaftlicher Forschung und Lehre zu gemeinwohl- und werteorientierter Führung sowie die Kommunikation wissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse in die Gesellschaft.
