La Fédération pour la Préparation et la Suite du Reclassement a été créée en 1981, afin de développer une activité d’EPSR (loi du 30 juin 1975), par 3 associations : l’ATC, l’ATMP et l’ADAPT.
La FPSR a pour but d’apporter son soutien aux personnes, particulièrement aux personnes handicapées lors de leur reclassement et ce jusqu’à la fin du processus. L’association gère l’organisation d’un organisme de placement spécialisé (OPS) et elle participe également à la gestion de tous les services menant au reclassement professionnel et à la réinsertion sociale des personnes relevant de la diversité. La FPSR porte le projet associatif suivant : la gestion des activités organisées autour de missions de services d’intérêt général.
Outre son activité principale d’OPS (CAP EMPLOI), l’association développe des activités qui permettent le déploiement d’expertise et d’innovation :
