Authentic French bistro, Franck Bistrot is one of Shanghai’s most celebrated gourmet des¬tinations, offering an alluring sense of French savoir-faire. Founded in 2007 by French res¬taurateur Franck Pecol, his eponymous bis¬trot is referred as a Shanghai institution and was acclaimed as one of ‘Asia's 50 Best Restaurants’ by San Pellegrino and Acqua Panna in 2013 & 2014.
Our philosophy is rooted in honest and simple cuisine, combining tradition, excellent techniques and selection of the best local in¬gredients – with no compromises on quality. The blackboard menu changes according to the fin¬est seasonally fresh produce our chef selected and dishes come in generous portions like a dinner home, with starters to be shared.
Service is relaxed and convivial, and the intimate terrace sits within the stylish corner of Ferguson Lane beside one of Shanghai’s most charming streets.
‘A la carte’ this season: palourdes aux artichaux, asperges blanches, fresh oysters on a half-shell… along French cuisine classics such as terrine de campagne, homemade foie gras, escargots de Bourgogne, tartare de boeuf au couteau, etc. followed with traditional bistro desserts, such as crème brûlée, baba au Rhum and more…
