في وقت قصير، قاد FSMCD حملة مناصرة ناجحة من أجل فصل كلية مأرب عن جامعة صنعاء التي ساهمت في إعلان كلية مأرب في الآونة الأخيرة على أنها جامعة حكومية بمأرب. كما ساعد FSMCD الفتيات القادمات من المديريات البعيدة لمواصلة الدراسة في الجامعة بمدينة مأرب خلال تصاعد الصراع وذلك بالدعوة لتوفير وسائل النقل العام مجانا للطالبات و استجابة لذلك حصلت الجامعة على 4 باصات نقل جماعي كمنحة من هيئة الهلال الأحمر الاماراتي لازالت الجامعة تستخدمهن كخدمة مجانية تستفيد منها مئات الفتيات داخل مأرب ولوحظ مؤخرا تزايد واضح لأعداد الطالبات الملتحقات بالجامعة للعام الجديد لمواصلة تعليمهن وربما كان السبب الرئيسي لهذا التدفق هو توفر وسيلة نقل آمنه ومجانية، وكان الإنجاز الأبرز للملتقى أنه قاد مبادرة شبابية شارك فيها الشباب من الجنسين خلال الشهور الأولى بعد تأسيسه سعت لوضع حد للصراع الداخلي بين قبيلة الاشراف وقبيلة الحدد وحققت نجاحا باهرا فشلت بتحقيقه وساطات أخرى
