Chem&Size minerals fused silica,with near zero coefficent of thermal expansion and high resistance to thermal shock, is produced by melting high purity natural silica sand(quartz sand) at 2000 degree Celsius.In the fusing process, the crystalline phase of silica sand transforms into amorphous phase fused silica.After cooling, Fused silica ingot is made out with 99.9% amorphous SiO2 silicon oxide. Fused silica ingot is separated into Grade A, Grade B and Grade C according to the black point size.Then fused silica is crushed or milled to defferent size grains,powder,flour,stucco.By doing which, our fused silica quality and price are suitable for different application:
Refractories,investment castings,foundaries,technical thermal ceramic,as well as other applications that require a consistent high purity products with extremly low thermal expansion
