Der Grasshopper Club Zürich (abgekürzt GC oder GCZ oder bekannt als Grasshoppers Zürich, Grasshoppers bzw. nur Hoppers) ist ein Schweizer Sportclub aus Zürich. Er wurde 1886 als erster Fussballclub in der Stadt Zürich gegründet. Im sogenannten GC Campus ist die Geschäftsstelle und das Trainingszentrum der ersten Mannschaft zu finden. Ebenfalls findet der gesamte Spielbetrieb des Nachwuchses und der Junioren dort statt. Seit der Gründung wird ein blau-weisses Trikot getragen, das sich farblich vom Stadtwappen von Zürich herleitet.
Die älteste und bekannteste Sektion des Grasshopper Clubs ist die Fussball-Abteilung. Der Grasshopper Club Zürich ist Schweizer Fussball-Rekordmeister und -cupsieger. Er ist Stadtrivale des FC Zürich.
Der GCZ ist auch in anderen Sportarten vertreten. Im Handball spielen die Zürcher in der höchsten Liga und sind ebenfalls Rekordmeister. Die Ruder-Sektion hat schon Olympiasieger hervorgebracht. Im Eishockey wurde der GCZ in der Saison 1965/66 Schweizer Meister. Im Landhockey ist der Club häufig im Europacup anzutreffen. Verschiedene Nationalspieler stellt die Sektion Unihockey. Daneben ist der GCZ auch im Curling, Squash, Tennis, Rugby und seit neustem im Beachsoccer aktiv. Der Zentralpräsident des gesamten Clubs ist Andres Iten.
