It is a partnership that brings political and business support and access to a highly experienced energy supply chain through the regional industry bodies including the East of England Energy Group (EEEGR), and the region's offshore wind cluster East Wind.
GENERATE's founding partners include Norfolk and Suffolk County Councils, Great Yarmouth Borough Council and East Suffolk Council. In 2024 the partnership was joined by Essex County Council.
