Die gpti wurde 2016 gegründet und ist mittlerweile das größte Unternehmernetzwerk für Technologie und Innovationen in der Immobilienwirtschaft in der DACH-Region. Bis Ende 2024 wird die gpti auf über 200 Mitglieder gewachsen sein.
Der Verband hat das Ziel, digitale Unternehmer in der Branche miteinander zu vernetzen und Interessierten einen zentralen Anlaufpunkt für die PropTech-Szene zu bieten.
Als unabhängige Plattform vernetzt die gpti PropTech-Gründer untereinander und bietet den Mitgliedern eine Plattform für den Dialog mit etablierten Unternehmen in der Immobilienwirtschaft als auch Investoren.
Die gpti (ehemals: "German PropTech Initiative") ist fast genauso alt wie die PropTech-Szene in Deutschland selbst. Schon in 2016 hatten die Unternehmer

die Idee ein Netzwerk für Digital-Unternehmer in der Immobilienbranche zu gründen.
Die Anfänge:
Die 6 sahen die Notwendigkeit PropTech-Unternehmer zusammenzubringen um Herausforderungen gemeinsam anzugehen. Denn anders als die etablierte Immobilienbranche kannten sich viele der Unternehmer nicht, und wussten deshalb wenig darüber, wie es Ihren Mitbewerbern bzw. Kollegen erging. Die Entwicklung der letzten 5 Jahre und das Wachstum auf über 150 Unternehmer zeigt:
Netzwerk ist auch in der PropTech-Szene essentiell und hilft nicht nur dem Einzelnen, sondern auch dabei die gesamte Branche zu digitalisieren. Gemeinsam und nicht gegeneinander.
