Apart from encryption and all the tech bells & whistles, our user interface & functionality allows you levels of privacy that no other app gives you! You can only #GetConnectd to whoever is in your phonebook, and someone (like you) can only #GetConnectd with whoever is in their phonebook. There is no ‘user search’ feature – random people can’t search for you or reach out to you.
Our app carries as a standard 64bit end-to-end encryption. Chat 1-on-1 and create & manage group chats. Share documents, images, audio, video, & a whole host of file types via the chat platform. Brighten up someone’s day with a GIF or emoji. No unsolicited messages from numbers you don’t know. Just because someone (like you) has the app & has your number, doesn’t automatically give them chat permission with you. First-time chat requests are vetted by you – you set permissions – accept, decline or leave the request pending until later – the ball’s in your court.
Social media on Connectd works in the same way! When you vet a chat request, you also set permissions for your social media interaction. Choose if you want them to see your social media posts or if you want to see their posts. Comment on or like a post, and you won’t see endless comments strings – you only see engagements by people you have Connectd with, and only they see your comments.
We don’t collect your app use data, monitor search trends, recommend friends and we don’t post adverts! We won’t sell your data or share with any ‘marketing affiliates’, ‘group companies’, ‘digital agents’ or anything of that sort. It’s all about you #LivingConnectd without the clutter of irrelevant (to you) content.
