Da tre generazioni la famiglia Ghiggia si occupa, nelle varie accezioni, di energia elettrica e specificatamente idroelettrica. A partire dal nonno Luigi «incaricato» del Cotonificio Vallesusa, stabilimento sito nel comune dove tuttora ha sede la ditta Ghiggia, che distribuiva l’energia elettrica nel territorio comunale con un impianto di 1080kW. Passando dal dopoguerra fino agli anni ottanta dove i fratelli Giancarlo e Giuseppe intensificarono l’attività di installazione di impianti elettrici in Italia, all’estero e per conto enel.
A partire dagli anni ottanta l’attività si verticalizza sugli impianti idroelettrici con ristrutturazioni di impianti propri e di terzi, progettazioni ed automazioni con varie compagini societarie.
Dal 2003 la Ghiggia Srl rappresenta la Zhejiang Jinlun Electromechanical Co, Ltd, società cinese leader mondiale nella produzione di turbine per impianti idroelettrici, con la quale operiamo con personale tecnico/commerciale a noi dedicato. Qualità ed esperienza pluriennale, fanno delle nostre turbine idroelettriche, i prodotti richiesti da ogni parte del mondo.
