A partir de 2015, le Groupe international GIG, numéro 1 des assurances dans le Koweït, dont l’activité est soutenue par la holding FAIRFAX et présent dans 13 pays devient actionnaire de l’Algérienne des Assurances.
En 2021, l’Algérienne des Assurances, change de nom commercial et devient GIG ALGERIA, elle change son identité visuelle et adopte la vision et les valeurs du groupe GIG.
