Serena McWilliams, here! Over the past 14 years, I’ve held just about every position you can in the Accounting Industry. From my start as an Administrative Assistant, I climbed the ladder up to a Senior Tax Advisor and Accounting Services Supervisor, and finally, here I am now as an Owner. I have seen almost everything, and I am here to affordably help you with your individual and small business goals!
Having worked in some of the best and most successful firms throughout the years, I still found myself wanting more and more, to be on the other side of it; to not only own my own small business, but to help others be more successful with theirs. So here we are now, and I can finally say that as the founder and owner of Gingerbread Accounting Services, it is my mission to provide something I found to be missing in the accounting field – which is a very warm and personal approach to your specific accounting needs.
I was inspired by my Grandmother, who was a true pioneer in the world of women owned businesses at a time in our American History where that wasn’t really probable. So to reignite that flame and carry on her legacy, Gingerbread Accounting Services was born! As she tells it, “the name Gingerbread is a metaphor for “extra”; when creating a gingerbread house, no one ever just glues some cookies together and calls it a day”. I am here to offer all those extra details and attention so you know that your business is just as important to me, as it is to you.
