On the initiative of the Universities of Bonn (NRW) and Wageningen (NL), GIQS (Grenzüberschreitende Integrierte Qualitätssicherung e.V.), a non-profit and international network was established in 2001. In the meantime, GIQS has established itself as a strong network in the agricultural and food sectors.
