GlobeGuards is een non-profit samenwerkingsverband van 22 Nederlandse organisaties die zich richten op natuurbescherming over de hele wereld.
Elke organisatie heeft zijn eigen unieke specialisatie in bescherming, onderzoek of beheer van natuurgebieden of specifieke soorten. GlobeGuards brengt praktische ervaringen bij elkaar, zodat de leden kennis aan elkaar overbrengen en elkaar waar mogelijk ondersteunen.
GlobeGuards organiseert ieder jaar rond Werelddierendag 4 oktober de Dag van de Natuur Veiling in Koninklijke Burgers’ Zoo in Arnhem. Tijdens een uitgebreid diner worden unieke natuurbelevenissen geveild die aangedragen zijn door de leden van GlobeGuards. De opbrengst van deze veiling is voor veel van de leden een heel belangrijke inkomstenbron om hun natuurbeschermingsactiviteiten voort te kunnen zetten. Deze dag wordt mede mogelijk gemaakt door Koninklijke Burgers' Zoo en All for Nature Travel.
