Glow Abilities is a non-profit 501c(3) organization. We exist to provide job skill building opportunities to special needs individuals that could lead them to long-term sustainable jobs. Our goal is to find job opportunities suitable to the skillsets of the special needs folks in our group.
We learned that autistic folks learn quickly by repetition. They have the unique skills to do routine work like assembly line work. For this reason, we chose our first project to assemble snack boxes. We work with all abilities individuals. We host events at local public libraries and put a call for participants to come and experience the assembly line work of putting the same snack items in each box. These boxes are either donated to local charities or sold on Amazon under the brand SnackyJoy
Our long term vision is to make the sales sustainable to provide employment for our volunteer participants.
