The User Groups are part of an international community and are a way to help members grow their knowledge and competency in Microsoft technologies. Member Driven Members are at the forefront of our content and strategy. The Gold Coast User Group (GCUG) is part of this work wide community and is managed by the international Advisory Committee, made up of member representatives. Members volunteer their time and talents to present webinars, lead User Group meetings and share their tips. With each new member, the value of the community and the shared knowledge base grows - increasing the learning and education for all who are engaged. Gold Coast User Group The GCUG events are FREE events run by volunteers. The leadership team's aim is to support the continued growth of Gold Coast business. Gold Coast is Australia's 6th largest city making it the largest non-capital city in Australia. While our economy might be heavily swayed towards Tourism, the city is focused on diversifying into; marine, education, information communication and technology, food, tourism, creative, environment and sports industries. A strong technology industry is vital to ensuring Gold Coast business leverage technology to their advantage and successfully compete on the world stage.
