WE GIVE TALENT A VOICE Who Are We? GraduFair is a youth initiative by 2 alumni and an economics student at Vrije Universiteit Brussels. This collaboration aims to reduce the gap between students and companies, with our trademark being to promote diversity in the workplace. While many young graduates of diverse ethnic backgrounds have a diploma, finding a suitable job does not always run as smoothly as it should. How Do We Achieve Our Goal? Now you may be asking yourself how exactly GraduFair lends a helping hand to both the recruiting companies and the applying young graduates? First of all, GraduFair wishes to turn to the last year students that have their eye on the ball, their future. Once a student has a diploma, the real work can begin. The months that follow are usually filled with preparing a CV, job applications and interviews. There is often a will, but the way usually seems to be missing. This is where GraduFair intervenes. To ease the transition from student to employee, GraduFair provides a platform where students and companies can meet. This can be arranged through job fairs, workshops and events, among other things. Furthermore, this will be organised according to a market survey in order to gauge the interest of the students, their majors, ambitions and visions. This is so that the right companies are linked to the appropriate candidate-young graduates, to ensure a perfect match and optimize their cooperation. Because GraduFair is an initiative of three (former) students, it makes it a suitable vehicle to ensure a smooth transition of students into the workforce. Each of our members have walked in the footsteps of the young graduates and know exactly what is needed to help them set and achieve their life goals. GraduFair seeks to unleash a positive impact where students, but companies in particular can benefit from. Registration is possible via GraduFair for companies and students.
