Wool Pots are an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic plant pots. Wool Pots are manufactured using British wool that might otherwise not find a home. Some of the benefits of using Wool Pots are:- • Natural slug and snail barrier • Air pruning creates stronger roots and less root disturbance • Wool insulates and retains water so they use between 20-30% less water • Strong and flexible easy to use • Once planted in soil they degrade and all nutrients in the wool feeds the plants • A truly zero waste natural plant pot We have created a product which helps farmers, helps reduce the “mountain” of unwanted wool, protects plants and helps save the planet – not bad for a plant pot! The problem we are trying to solve…500 million plastic plant pots are sent to landfill in the UK every year, a similar number are incinerated. It takes 450 years for a plastic pot to degrade into micro plastics. We use British Wool and are members of the Campaign for Wool.
