Grapevine Local is a free-to-use, social media platform developed with one, highly significant, aim - namely, to boost the economies and general well-being of local communities throughout the UK.
We will principally achieve this in two ways:
1. The Grapevine Local platform
Raise awareness amongst residents of everything that their local shops and businesses offer.
2. The Grapevine Local debit card
Increase the buying frequency, with those local shops and businesses, by offering a free to use debit card.
This community focussed ethos combined with cutting edge FinTech is at the heart of Grapevine Local’s unique appeal.
GL’s debit card which will be known as the Grapevine Local Club Card, will provide customers with a GL account, which they can use at participating local businesses, who will offer discounts and special offers on their range of local products and services to those card holding customers. For local businesses the GL debit card will be a game changer. Though some may run a loyalty card scheme none will have one which benefits the whole community and operates in a multiple of local stores. This community ethos will encourage greater loyalty, increase local sales and help boost the well-being of everyone locally.
For the first time, local consumers will have a loyalty product which gives them the same benefits as those provided by the national multiples.
Together, residents and businesses will be demonstrating a strong commitment to their local community. This community engagement generates positive word of-mouth, bolstering reputations and attracting more customers, with a greater sense of loyalty.
