The basic objective of the human body in the first year of existence is to grow bigger. Nature supports this through sudden bursts of growth which help us evolve, grow and thus survive. This phenomenon is called growth spurt which happens about five times in the first year of life, a few more times during toddler years and finally once during teenage. After this, the human body is fully evolved.
The human mind, however, continues to benefit from such bursts of growth through different positive and negative experiences, challenges, responsibilities.
We, at Growth Spurt, believe that human mind has the unique ability to also ‘trigger’ growth spurts. As professionals, we must capitalize on this ability to develop ourselves as well as others, whom we work with.
A simple way to do this is by ‘reflecting’ on our work habits, behaviours, managerial approach, leadership styles so as to identify areas that need change or improvement. Today’s busy work life hardly allows such opportunities, and hence our workshops/learning journeys become a perfect place to facilitate this for our clients.
Our solutions are designed in a way that there are enough opportunities for the participants to ‘reflect and become self aware’ and identify at least one lasting change / improvement required for their growth and start working on it as a part of the learning journey with us.
