The firm foundation of H.K. DAS AGARWAL GROUP was laid by Honorable Hare Krishna Das Agarwal in the year 1950. In the early days of its inception the group was mainly involved in wholesaling FMCG products from physical wholesale counter based in the heart of city of Varanasi. Moving forward in the decade of 1950-60, the group went in to a distribution business of Union Carbide’s Eveready Batteries and Flashlights in the state of Uttar Pradesh. With the learning gained and success tested with Eveready, the group went in to similar distribution business for then popular FMCG brands and Pharmaceuticals products – like COLGATE PAMOLIVE, RECKITT COLMAN, PARKE-DEVIS, ROCHE, MARTIN HARRIS, to name some. After establishing its firm roots in Distribution Business, the group also started Rural Van Distribution for Eveready which soon became a huge success and became a popular case study for many other companies. Soon many other brands ventured in to same marketing and distribution model. In next decade of its operation the group ventured in to Super Stockiest business with the brands like HINDUSTAN CIBA-GEIGY, BINACA products of Oral Hygiene, AMUL Dairy products and DHARA oil, to name some. During 1980s after a three decade of strong distribution experience the group entered in C&F Business with multiple brands like EVEREADY and RECKITT COLMAN. In order to diversify the group took its first step toward real estate business with construction of a big Shopping Arcade in the heart of the city of Varanasi, where by the shops were rented to multiple consumer brands like Bata as well as entered in to commercial leasing agreement with Bank Of India. In addition the group started developing huge warehouse spaces to add more arsenals in its distribution and C&F Business. In the decade when country went through a transformation from License Raj to LPG, the group with a strong hold in Logistic and Supply Chain added more feathers to its hat by adding distribution of TITAN INDUSTRIES, DEYS MEDICAL and CORE HEALTHCARE LIMITED and many more. In the begging of 21st century the group commenced its operation in Capital city of Lucknow and forayed in Cold and Perishable product distribution via group owned cold storage facilities and ventured in to C&F business of MOTHER DIARY PRODUCTS LIKE ICE CREAM-SAFAL MATAR-DHARA, Claris Lifesciences Limited, NILON’S, SUNFLAME, TVS TYRES and many other brands. Group also constructed 2 warehouses to meet it’s business needs. Adding to its intent towards real estate, the group moved further to get in to residential plotting by venturing with Rudra Real Estate Ltd., one of the renowned real estate company. The group is now developing a huge 2.4 lakh square feet LOGISTIC PARK which will act as a one point solution to all the logistic needs. In addition the group has given warehouses on rents to many MNC FMCG Brands. The group with strong financial background is in process of entering in to Angel investing and E-commerce Business. The group is run and managed by a strong team of experienced business man, seasoned management professional with corporate experience, Chartered Accountants and highly qualified IT Professionals.
