H2 Renewables LLC (H2R) is a project development company focused on producing hydrogen utilizing renewable energy (green hydrogen). The Company will earn revenues from project development fees, construction and operation services and ownership of some or all of the projects it develops. H2R’s near term opportunities are in the United States with the first projects expected to come on line in California.
H2R has identified buyers who are ramping up to increase their consumption of green hydrogen by at least 15 tons per day or about $50 million per year by 2020. Moreover for the State of California to achieve its goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions during the next decade from the production and use of transportation fuels, the demand will need to grow by at least 200 tons per day or more than $500 million per year.
H2R is working with trade allies to develop a green hydrogen production and transportation business in California. The first project is expected to produce over 5 tons per day by 2020. The site and source of renewable power are identified and we have verified that we can sell hydrogen at a price significantly below the current retail price. The project will have the following characteristics:
• Proven technology
• Low priced renewable energy
• Bonded fixed-price turnkey construction
• Guaranteed equipment performance
• Credit-worthy hydrogen customers
• Long-term take-or-pay contracts
• Equity returns of >12% IRR
H2R expects a series of follow-on projects that will double this output in short order. Thereafter H2R expects to develop projects that will produce 10 tons or more per day. H2R’s long-term growth is assured since it has identified sites and developed relationships with leading renewable energy partners that are capable of supporting over 1,000 tons per day of green hydrogen. Our goal is to develop over $2 billion of projects over the next 15 years
