In 1956, the story of Hamlet started with Alfred Geltmeyer. Operating out of a small bakery in the centre of Vrasene (Belgium), he started a small-scaled sweets wholesale business. When his three children joined the company, they chose to expand it with a company’s own chocolate-producing facility. Nowadays all Hamlet employees share the same passion of offering you the most delicious chocolates and sweets. Day after day.

The quality and diversity of Belgian chocolate products is unrivalled. Hamlet continues to contribute to this Belgian chocolate tradition. We create and produce delicious and visually appealing products for you.
You can choose pralines, truffles, chocolate chips, tablets, figurines and melting chocolate.

The traceability of all our products is guaranteed.
Our products undergo several controls, from the receipt of the ingredients and the delivery to your doorstep, during which we check the recipe, finish, packaging, temperature, etc. Lab analyses are performed on a regular basis. Besides this, Hamlet also regularly organises safety, quality and ethical audits.
Own logistics centre to guarantee a punctual and correct service
Your customer contact in our head office is your main contact. He or she will find out more about your wishes and ensure that these are fulfilled. In a timely and correct manner.
Two own plants produce up to 25 tons of chocolate every day
Our production centers, A&A Chocolaterie (figurines and tablets) and Pralinart (pralines) pride themselves on the quality of their products. Every day, our in-house R&D team works on developing new products. Further training and investment in ultra-modern machinery mean we can rely on state-of-the-art production facilities.
