Tentang ICN (Indonesian Community Network)
Kehadiran berbagai komunitas generasi muda berkembang begitu pesat beberapa tahun ini. Fenomena ini menandakan bahwa anak-anak muda Indonesia ingin berkontribusi untuk membuat perubahan bagi Indonesia. Gagasan itulah yang menginspirasi OptimisMe, sebuah gerakan yang berbasis komunitas, kepemudaan dan kebangsaan untuk membuat Indonesia Community Network (ICN). Dengan values “Idealis, Kritis, Realistis”, ICN bertujuan untuk mendukung berbagai aktivitas lintas komunitas yang dinamis di berbagai bidang misalnya hobi, visi, bahkan profesi.
Visi : Menjadi fasilitator bagi para komunitas di seluruh Indonesia untuk berkolaborasi melakukan perubahan positif bagi Indonesia
Misi : Mempertemukan komunitas di seluruh Indonesia untuk menginspirasi satu sama lain melalui Hari Komunitas Nasional
ICN membagi dimensi area interest komunitas menjadi 8 (delapan) bagian yang disebut “Task Force”, diantaranya:
1. Kesehatan (Health)
2. Pendidikan (Education)
3. Seni, Budaya dan Sejarah (Art,Culture and History)
4. Gaya Hidup (Lifestyle)
5. Hak Asasi Manusia (Human Rights)
6. Teknologi dan Media (Technology and Media)
7. Lingkungan (Environment)
8. Gerakan Kepemudaan (Youth Movement)
Indonesia Community Network berperan sebagai pusat informasi mengenai peran komunitas dalam berkontribusi untuk Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, ketiga inisiator yaitu Doddy Matondang (describe experiences&achievements), Gerryl Besouw (describe experiences & achievements) dan Taufan Teguh Akbari (describe experiences&achievements) mendeklarasikan “Hari Komunitas Nasional” untuk pertama kalinya di Indonesia pada 28 September 2013 di JCC Senayan. Disahkan oleh Menkominfo Bapak Tifatul Sembiring, Negarawan Bapak Pontjo Sutowo, puluhan founder serta ratusan anggota komunitas lintas bidang.
