HeartPath LLC was established in 2017 by Paulette Creek. Owned and Operated by Paulette Creek and Whitney Sciko, HeartPath LLC is a vocational rehabilitation/supported employment services provider based in Westland, MI. We serve the employment needs of adults with disabilities in southeast Michigan and beyond. Provided services currently include resume building, job seeking training, job placement, and job coaching. Our main goal is to assist adults with disabilities in gaining and maintaining long-term, community-based employment opportunities where they can earn a fair and prevailing wage working in an integrated environment. This will allow them to become more self-sufficient and increasingly active in their communities. This will help us achieve our mission of helping to create a brighter future for people with disabilities by helping them realize their goals of independence and a sense of belonging within their community. We will achieve this by creating an organization that emphasizes from the top down a culture of empathy, compassion, empowerment, and professionalism. Benefits of Working with HeartPath for Hiring Companies We serve adults with various types of disabilities who possess a wide range of capabilities. Before being referred to us for placement, they are assessed and trained to be job-ready by the state of Michigan’s Department of Health and Human Services. Our goal is to place our clients in long-term career opportunities that are mutually beneficial to both our client and the employer. Clients that meet the requirements of the available position go through the standard application/interview process. Once a client has retained employment, our Job Coaches work with them onsite depending on their needs to acclimate them to their new positions and help them learn to fulfill their job duties independently. As a result of our training process, our clients are typically better prepared for the job than their peers. These services, provided at no cost to the employer, are a huge benefit to the client, the employer, and the community at large.
