HEC Asia aims at building bridges between Asia and Europe within HEC. Our goal is to show the Far-East under all its aspects, whether they be cultural, economic or geopolitical, to the students of HEC. HEC Asia unites French and international students alike from all courses. We want to break down the barriers between the different academic pathways and bring students together around a wide-range of events that meet everyone’s expectations: meetings with companies and professionals, events with important guests from around the globe, conferences on Buddhism and Confucius and why not, tastings of exotic delicacies! We organize an Asia Business Trip that will be held in the second week of June. 20 HEC Paris students will be chosen to visit Singapore, where they will get the opportunity to attend company presentations, workshops and networking sessions. Schwarzman, Chair, CEO and Co-Founder of Blackstone, one of the world’s leading investment firms with $336 billion Assets Under Management. He addressed various topics such as his approach on leadership, directing a global financial firm and his insights on the global business environment, and presented Schwarzman Scholars (a highly selective program designed to help future leaders meet the challenges of the 21st century). Wang Shi in HEC Paris Wang Shi, one of China’s most influential business leaders, gave us the honor of coming to HEC Paris, on Wednesday December 2nd 2015.
