Η Ελληνική Ένωση Καφέ είναι μία Αστική Μη Κερδοσκοπική Εταιρεία, που ιδρύθηκε από μία ομάδα επιχειρηματιών και ανθρώπων του καφέ το 2018 με αφορμή την επιβολή του Ειδικού Φόρου Κατανάλωσης στον καφέ. Έχει ως αντικείμενο τη θεσμική εκπροσώπηση του κλάδου εμπορίας και επεξεργασίας καφέ στην Ελλάδα. Σκοπός της είναι η προβολή των θέσεων των επαγγελματιών του κλάδου καφέ αναφορικά με αμιγώς θεσμικά ζητήματα και πιο συγκεκριμένα γύρω από ζητήματα φορολόγησης και δασμών, καταπολέμησης του λαθρεμπορίου και παρεμπορίου, υγιεινής και ασφάλειας των τροφίμων, επισημάνσεων στα προϊόντα καφέ καθώς και περιβαλλοντικής διαχείρισης και διαχείρισης των απορριμμάτων.
Σήμερα αποτελεί τον οργανωμένο θεσμικό εκπρόσωπο του κλάδου εισαγωγής, μεταποίησης και εμπορίας καφέ στην Ελλάδα και αξιόπιστο συνομιλητή της Πολιτείας. Απαρτίζεται από 21 επιχειρήσεις, που προέρχονται από το σύνολο της ελληνικής επικράτειας. Είναι μέλος της European Coffee Federation, του ΣΕΒ και του ΣΕΒΤ.
The Hellenic Coffee Association is an Urban Non-Profit Company, founded by a group of businessmen and coffee people in 2018 on the occasion of the imposition of the Special Consumption Tax on coffee. Its object is the institutional representation of the trade and processing of coffee in Greece. Its purpose is to promote the positions of professionals in the coffee sector regarding purely institutional issues and more specifically around issues of taxation and customs duties, combating smuggling and contraband, food hygiene and safety, labels on coffee products as well as environmental management and management of of waste.
Today it is the organized institutional representative of the coffee import, processing and trading sector in Greece and a reliable interlocutor of the State. It consists of 21 companies, coming from all over the Greek territory. It is a member of the European Coffee Federation, SEV and SEVT.
