The impact of COVID19 has been profound for the hospitality industry - and for those who work within it. Nearly 170,000 Kiwis work within the NZ hospitality industry. So, a small group of people put their heads together to talk about how they could help quickly, resulting in #helpforhospo.
Blair Duncan, of Red+White Cellar, was moved to act after hearing stories from within the industry of people needing assistance - particularly those trying to support dependents. Blair’s initial donation of $10,000 has now been matched by others and #helpforhospo created as a means to distribute those funds.
