HelpCanadians was built on the foundation of helping people who support their family members or loved ones living with a disability.
As the brainchild of The National Benefit Authority, a service provider that helps differently-abled Canadians claim their disability tax benefits in the form of the Disability Tax Credit (DTC), HelpCanadians is an extension of our long-term vision to help families in need.
The National Benefit Authority was founded by Akiva Medjuck, who originally built the company on a simple, focused premise: help the over 500,000 Canadians living with disabilities who are not receiving their Disability Tax Credit from the Canadian government. Over a decade later, that simple idea has grown, making us the largest service provider of the DTC in all of Canada, where we've successfully helped over 40,000 Canadians recover their disability tax credits. In the process, we've provided valuable information and a listening ear to hundreds of thousands of differently-abled Canadians and their families. This is what makes every day amazing for our over 100 specially-trained Disability Tax Credit specialists.
