Hi! email format

hi! was born out of a frustration with superficial social interactions during the freshmen college experience. Every year a new class of students looks to make new friends yet campus culture is to share 1) your name, 2) where you are from, and 3) what major you are considering while introducing yourself to as many people as possible. hi! aims to replace quantity interactions with quality interactions. We do this by leveraging a psychometric algorithm which uses a compatibility metric to match people as friends. We spent two years discovering and developing the points of correlation for friendship compatibility. We look forward to leveraging machine learning to make the psychometric algorithm more robust. hi! initialized with a 3 person co-founding team. We raised money, hired interns, and produced 100,000+ lines of code, and full designed the mobile app. As first time entrepreneurs, we bit off more than we could chew and after two years the original team fell apart.
