「饒宗頤文化館」座落於擁有百年歷史的三級歷史建築群，位於荔枝角山崗中的城市綠洲，佔地約32,000平方米，分上、中、下三區，景致雅妍，是香港特區政府發展局「活化歷史建築伙伴計劃」的首批保育項目，由非牟利慈善機構「香港中華文化促進中心」以「香港文化傳承」為主題，直接參與修復、保育活化及日常營運，見證本港文物保育發展的一個新里程。
文化館以當代中國國學大師饒宗頤教授之名命名為「饒宗頤文化館」，彰顯饒宗頤教授對漢學作出非凡的貢獻，秉承「文化傳承」的理念，進一步推廣文化及教育活動，弘揚中華傳統文化，成為一個地標性文化平台。藉著舉辦不同的文化活動，讓市民大眾能透過這個平台，得以傳承和體驗獨特的香港文化。
