The Harvard Law School Association of Europe was officially founded in Paris on October 16, 1965. The first Annual Reunion was held in Paris on May 7-9, 1966. Today, more than 50 years later, the HLSA of Europe consists of over 2,300 active members.
The purpose of the Association is “to advance the cause of legal education, and to promote the interests and increase the usefulness of the Harvard Law School, to further the organization of local or regional associations in Europe, and to promote mutual acquaintance and good fellowship among all members of the Association.”
