De eigenaar van Hondentaak, Judith Fick, is gekwalificeerd en geaccrediteerd hondentrainer én gedragstherapeut. Ze was instructeur voor KNGF geleidehonden en is actief als gedragsbeoordelaar voor de Leonberger vereniging. Voorheen heeft ze gewerkt als gedragstester bij DOA, het grootste dierenasiel van Nederland. Hondengedrag en training gaan haar aan het hart.
Training houdt in dat je als eigenaar leert hoe je je hond gewenst gedrag aanleert, net zolang tot dit gedrag de nieuwe gewoonte wordt. Op dat moment heb je een gedragsverandering gecreëerd. Soms is er meer nodig dan alleen training en niet in alle gevallen kan een totale gedragsverandering gecreëerd worden.
