The Horizons School of Technology bridges traditional university education and the the real world through immersive software engineering and entrepreneurship programs. Our programs (Actively enrolling year round): Horizons One: 2 year, tuition-free co-op program for those interested in working as software engineers. Students learn web and mobile engineering, computer science theory, and dive into topics and technologies required to write production-grade, scalable software. With our financial aid, you can actually get paid to learn. Summer Immersive: A 3-month intensive program in web and mobile application development. Learn how to bring your ideas to life. Students who take our summer program have interests including engineering, entrepreneurship, product management and venture capital. Former guest speakers include Keith Rabois (OpenDoor), Payal Kadakia (Classpass), Laks Srini (Zenefits), Pete Koomen (Optimizely) and more. Semester Immersive: A turbocharged and more intimate version of the summer program. 1 month longer and smaller class sizes. The most entrepreneurial of Horizonites take semesters off of school to join us at Horizons. Apprenticeship Pricing Model: Designed for graduating seniors with technical majors. Students take our Semester program paying no tuition upfront, work on contract software engineering work after the program and pay a placement fee upon landing your first full time software engineering role.
